Osborne Trail and Park Association

Welcome to a Magical Place

Welcome to the Mary Roberts Reinhart Nature Park! Nestled next to the Osborne Elementary School in Glen Osborne, Pennsylvania, below the hustle and bustle of Beaver Road, this verdant oasis is a place to soothe the spirit. Come visit and enjoy walking trails, a scenic overlook, pollinator garden, stone amphitheater, picnic areas, fairy houses, and more! The park is open daily and free to the public. Our events are FREE to the public as well!

What’s in a Name

The park’s namesake, Mary Roberts Rinehart was a noted mystery writer and a woman ahead of her time. In the fall of 1911, with five successful books and two plays to her credit, she purchased a house in Glen Osborne. It was a place that meant peace and security to her. Later, a portion of her estate would become the Mary Roberts Rinehart Nature Park, and her dream of a tranquil place would live on for others to enjoy.
